Flex track

Flex track is bendable track (usually about 90 cm long) that can be shaped freely and cut to length. It fills gaps that fixed geometry cannot close and allows elegant, free-flowing alignments. Watch out: the tightest point of the bend must not go below the minimum radius. In the Trackplanner, flex track is shaped via its end points and tangents; the radius optimiser smooths the curve automatically.
