Track system

A track system is a manufacturer’s coordinated track range with a fixed geometry grid: radii, lengths, turnout angles and parallel spacing all fit together. Examples: Märklin C track, Piko A track, Roco geoLine, Tillig Elite, Kato Unitrack, Fleischmann Profi. Within one system “the geometry works out” — pieces from different systems usually cannot be combined. In the Trackplanner you pick the track system when creating a plan; the library then offers exactly its catalogue.
