Scenery off the board

Scenery off the board

What is checked? Whether placed scenery (houses, trees, figures …) lies wholly or partly off the baseboard — or over a cut-out opening.

Why does it matter? Unlike track, scenery needs no safety margin from the edge — it can’t derail and fall off. But it does have to be supported: a house half overhanging the board edge has no substructure underneath, and a cut-out interior is not buildable ground.

How to fix it: Shift the object inwards until it rests fully on the board — or extend the board there. With an automatic baseboard it grows to fit anyway; the finding only appears with fixed, predefined boards.

Numbers & defaults: no edge clearance required (0 mm) — support only. Cut-out openings count as “not board”.
