Track gauge

The track gauge is the distance between the inner faces of the two rails. The prototype standard gauge is 1435 mm (4 ft 8½ in); in the model, the gauge follows from the scale ratio (H0: 16.5 mm, N: 9 mm, TT: 12 mm, Z: 6.5 mm). Not to be confused with track spacing between two parallel tracks.
